Meet the Team

  • Dan Mayfield
  • President

Dan Mayfield has more than 20 years of experience as a government and public relations executive, magazine editor, newspaper reporter and TV show host. As the President of Leverage Point, he is responsible for creating and executing a broad range of communications strategies clients that range from state agencies and non-profits, to private companies and credit unions. His work has won him several local and national awards.  and he moonlights as the PA announcer for the Duke City Gladiators professional indoor football team. An Albuquerque native, Mayfield graduated from the University of New Mexico and is a fellow in the USC Annenberg School of Journalism.

Leverage Point Inc. is an advocacy and public affairs firm that specializes in providing a dedicated governmental and public affairs team that assists clients with developing and implementing proactive strategies that include crisis communications and management that will empower clients to mobilize grassroots efforts and galvanize positive public sentiments to the advantage of their individual and specific legislative and business goals.

  • Vince Higgins
  • Public Affairs Director

A public communicator with over 30 years experience in public, private and non profit sectors, Vince is a graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, a U.S. Navy veteran, worked as a public and private radio engineer, tv producer.
Always with public service in mind, he was director of communications and public information for the City of Memphis Police Department and the Shelby County District Attorney General’s Communications Director.
Before joining the Leverage Point team, he briefly served as the official spokesperson for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis in Tennessee.

Vince his wife Barbara moved to Central New Mexico’s East Mountains in 2019.

  • Paul Stull
  • Chairman

Paul Stull has demonstrated success in strategy development, leadership, political advocacy and has spoken before a variety of league and industry groups. Paul previously spent 7 years with Arizona State Credit Union in Phoenix, AZ, and has also served as the credit union’s Senior Vice President Strategy and Brand with direct responsibility for Corporate Strategy and Planning, Product Management and Marketing. Paul is active in credit union industry political advocacy programs, on both the state and national level, and has played an important role in the Coalition for Credit Union Access (the credit union ballot initiative to defeat payday lending in the State of Arizona), and has advocated for various state and federal credit union issues. He was named Arizona Political Advocate of the Year in 2010. Paul previously served as Director of the One AZ Community Foundation and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Marketing Association of Credit Unions. He is a graduate of the Oxford Strategic Leadership Program and received his undergraduate degree from Elmira College. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the American Advertising Federation and has been honored with over 80 national marketing, communications and branding awards.
